Another Party

So, I had a bite this weekend on my blog. Oh, by the way I am also on face book... ThreeofaKind Munchkins is my name. Look me up and be a follower! Back to the party... I only have to do center pieces but that is fine with me :) It is for a little princess that is turning 5 and she wants a rainbow unicorn princess theme. Not a biggie, right?! They might want 3 pieces but all different. I was thinking one with a unicorn, one a princess, and one with butterflies and her name/age. Well, I did a unicorn one this weekend because the center pieces needed to be weighted down as it is an outside party (usually leave that up to the person wanting the piece but decided I would do it since no shipping was needed) so I wanted to be sure I can figure out a way to do it and make it cute.

 

So I also did thank u cards and cupcake toppers to match!

Center Piece

Okay, I made a center piece for SpongeBob. I figured I am investing all this time in doing his invites why not create a center piece to go with it all for my collection of photos. This is just one center piece but of course I make any theme for him or different poses. I just liked this one, I might do one with Patrick. Not sure yet. I'm not a huge SpongeBob fan but I think I can do most of the characters... let's see, I can do SpongeBob (Duh), Patrick, Gary, Squidward, Mr.Krab, Mrs. Puff, Pearl, Sandy, Plankton, BancleBoy, MermaidMan, FishBoy, and FishGirl (what strange names). Anyhow, here is my SpongeBob center piece!

After posting I was thing of a way to make the center piece more aimed to the birthday party I am working on. So...

Might have a party

Okay, so I might have a party to do. Invites is all they need, it's a start. They are having a Sponge Bob theme for a little boy and his grandmother. I made three cards that I think they might like. What do you guys think of them? I tried using as much yellows and blues since it it the little boy's favorite colors. I think when if I am making the cards for them I might pick a dark bright blue for the back of the character cards.

Baby Shower

Okay so I found some pictures that I took of a baby shower I did. Now, let me tell you the story behind this one. A family member of mine was going to a baby shower for someone in her family and at the last minute she found out that they needed some decorations and party favors. So two days before the party I whipped these things together for her. She told me that everyone loved them and that the mother-to-be took everything home with her to put up in the baby's room.

First Post!

Okay, not to sound old or outdated but the blogging for the first time was a bit tricky. I think I have it though but will really have to try and work on doing it an easier way. Well, my plans are to start a very small business where I sell the party decorations that I can do. I love making these and would like to help my hubby out a bit. You see he is our sole income provider and he works his butt off. I would like to help just a bit so that he has more time to enjoy life and have fun with the kids. Please let me know what you think. I will be updating as much as I can.

My oldest daughter, Shayna, had Fairies as her theme 2 yrs ago. I am bad at remembering to take photos of my art but I have this one. Her favorite Fairy is Fawn so she was the center for everything I did.

Invites - all the details for the party was on the back side of the image. It turned out really cute and a few people we are close too still have the invite on their fridge because they liked it so much.



Center Pieces - I did one for each fairy and Shayna gave them away at the party to a few people.
